The Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce provides a range of benefits to its members. Each is designed to assist businesses in meeting their goals, increasing their visibility and local networking, and providing opportunities to become involved in the community.
Health Insurance
Provided by Cigna: This program offers major medical coverage to Chamber Members. Contact the Chamber Office at 802-228-5830.
Dental Insurance
Provided by Delta Dental: This program provides dental insurance to Chamber Members. Contact the Chamber Office at 802-228-5830.
Web Site
All members receive FREE listings on two web sites, The Chamber site www.OkemoValleyVT.org and the Regional Site www.VacationinVermont.com.
The Chamber Web Site currently boasts more than 500+ different visitors per day. All members are provided a FREE listing on this site. Members have the option to purchase one or more web links. Call our office for more information.
Regional Guide Book
The Okemo Valley Regional Guide is published twice a year, in November and May, and includes a FREE basic listing for all Member businesses. Company narratives and advertising space are also available for purchase to further highlight your business. Guide Book distribution totals 60,000 annually to regional lodging properties, restaurants, realtors, resort info desks, state welcome centers, and mailed to all inquiries.
NOTE: No listing or Advertising is accepted from companies who are not members of the Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Brochure Placement
All members are provided FREE rack card space for their brochure at the Chester and Ludlow information centers.
Business After Hours (Mixers)
Business-After-Hours is held from 5:30 - 7:00pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month at various member locations. The "Mixers " are excellent networking opportunities for business development. Meet fellow business owners while enjoying a social break. Monthly locations are listed on the website. Call the office to inquire about hosting a "Mixer" to showcase your business.
Chamber Events
The Chamber produces Nine Annual events; Ludlow Music Festival, Chester Music Festival, Cavendish Music Festival, Chester Fall Crafts Show, Chester's Overture to Christmas, Ludlow Winter Carnival, Okemo Valley Golf Tournament, and the Outdoor Show. We encourage all to become involved in Chamber event planning or execution.
Referrals
The Chamber office is open six days a week to assist visitors in finding area lodging, dining, shopping, attractions and various services. During holiday periods, a list of lodging availability is maintained by the chamber with participating businesses, to better direct inquiring guests.
